Campolongo di Torbe is Masi 's elegant Amarone cru, characterized by a round almond aroma and great intensity and balance. It comes from the vineyard of the same name already known for its qualities since the 12th century, where the grapes naturally wither in the traditional lofts during the cold winter months.
Appearance: impenetrable ruby red. Nose: intense and complex of cooked fruit and cinnamon. Palate: rich, warm and round, with flavors of ripe cherries and morello cherries, cooked plums and bitter almonds. Appaxximento: Masi 's expertise in the technique of wines from dried grapes.
Pairings
Excellent at the end of a meal or accompanied with red meats, game, quail, savory dishes. Excellent pairing with mature and spicy cheeses such as parmesan, pecorino and gorgonzola.
