VINIFICATIONBellovedere is only produced in years characterised by excellent weather conditions and when full ripeness is reached. Harvest at the end of October, once phenolic ripeness and balance between sugars and acidity have been reached. Selection of berries, maceration and fermentation for about 30 days in open conical Slavonian oak vats.

PERFUMEThe bouquet highlights aromas and flavours of dark plum, blackberry nectar and aromatic herbs, enriched by notes of coffee and cocoa.

PAIRINGSComplex red-meat preparations such as stews, braised and overcooked meats, game birds and feathered game, long matured cheeses.

TASTEIts majestic character explodes in the mouth, it is both dense yet fresh, characterised by noble and powerful tannins and a hint of violet perfume. The finish is long and clean with an endowment of minerality that enhances its characteristics of vivacity, power and cleanliness.

NOTESThis Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva DOC Terre dei Vestini Bellovedere della Fattoria La Valentina is only produced in vintages characterised by an ideal climate and the achievement of full ripeness. A wine with an intense and broad bouquet, a fresh and soft palate and an intriguing and full colour.

AGEINGMalolactic conversion and subsequent ageing partly in barriques, partly in tonneaux, partly in cement and partly in the same fermentation vats for about 18 months. Blending and bottling, during the most auspicious lunar phase, without filtration, a year before marketing.
