COLOR Intense ruby red with violet reflections.
BOUQUET It is rich and decisive on the nose, very persistent and characterized by spicy scents, aromas of jam and aromas of dried fruit.
PAIRINGS It has a splendid body that makes it appreciated with roasts, well-ripened cheeses, rich foods of the hunting tradition.
TASTE In the mouth it has a unique depth, lets perceive an important mineral vein, is balanced and has an excellent length.
NOTES Sagrantino is a very particular grape, rich in tannin, and therefore it must be carefully managed to obtain long-lived, but also complex and elegant wines. Harvest period: end of October, to have very ripe grapes.
AGING 12 months in steel, 18 months in wood (70% in oak barrels, 30% in barrique)
