NOTES The Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC is born on the hills of the Piedmontese Langhe and is characterized by a solid and deep bond with its territory. It is a complex, elegant red with extraordinary personality: the company's philosophy is based on the utmost respect for the environment and nature, a factor that contributes enormously to the genuineness of the product. The winery is located in an area characterized by a mild climate and calcareous soils, elements that favor the correct ripening of the grapes. For the Barbera d'Alba Superiore DOC, manual harvesting is carried out in crates, fermentation with indigenous yeasts and an aging process of 18 months in French oak barriques, which determine an adequate micro-oxygenation of the red and make it even more the wine is interesting.
AGING Refinement in 50-60 Hl French oak barrels. The duration of aging is 16 months, blending in spring, bottling in summer.
