The Spumante Rosè N 1.R by Lunae Bosoni is a Quality Sparkling Wine produced by the most famous and important winery in Liguria. This rosé sparkling wine has the particularity of being fresh and persistent, refined and aromatic and of having in its composition two different types of grapes so dear to Cantine Lunae. In the blend with which it is made there are in fact Vermentino Nero, a typical and native vine of the part of Eastern Liguria, and Ciliegiolo, the latter in great shape after being re-evaluated by the public of experts. This composition is ideal for giving an aromatic and savory note to this Spumante Rosè 1.R, so rich and fresh both on the nose and during tasting. The grape-derived vineyards are located within the borders of two of the most important towns in the province of La Spezia: Ortonovo and Castelnuovo Magra. Even the exposure is special to these gentle hills; being located to the southeast, they embrace most of the sun's rays of the day, optimally nourishing the vines. These predominantly pebbly soils with a very rich skeleton are located approximately 200 meters above sea level with a constant call to the sea breeze. This geological conformation and this enviable position are also extremely reflected in this sparkling wine, so sapid and inviting. The grape growing method is the classic Guyot with a planting density of around 4,000 vines per hectare, with an average age of the vines that is around 25 years old. The vinification of this Spumante Rosè N 1.R from Cantine Lunae takes place following the canons of the Charmat method, or Martinotti to put it in Italian. After having harvested the grapes in mid-September with the use of small wooden boxes, the must is placed and left to ferment in stainless steel where the temperature is controlled and kept constant. After a brief contact with the skins, the refermentation takes place in an autoclave where the highly selected yeasts are added. After Lunae's Spumante 1.R has been subjected to a low refrigeration temperature and after having been filtered and dosed, it is bottled and moved on to storage where it will be corked and labeled. It is perfect with appetizers, fresh cheeses, appetizers and pasta with fish.
