The Elba Bianco Doc 2021 obtained from Procanico, Vermentino and Chardonnay grapes, comes from vines on clayey-ferrous soils in a flat area. Harvested in early September, it is vinified in white, in steel containers, with temperature control during fermentation. Continuous batonage during the winter to enrich the wine with the aromas of the fine lees on which it is left to rest.
Elba White Doc 2021 – Tenuta La ChiusaThe estate overlooks the Gulf of Portoferraio and owes its name to the wall that surrounds it and encloses the 20 hectares of property, mostly planted with vineyards and olive trees. The main activity is the production and sale of traditional Elba wines (white, red, rosé, aleatico) and extra virgin olive oil.The origins date back to the end of the 1500s, with the birth of the cellars and the ancient village. The wall and the patronal villa date back to the early 1800s. La Chiusa also hosted Napoleon Bonaparte on two occasions: the first time immediately after his arrival on the island while he was at anchor waiting to be received with due honors in Portoferraio and subsequently after a hunting trip on Mount Fabbrello. The Elba Bianco Doc 2021 obtained from Procanico, Vermentino and Chardonnay grapes, comes from vines on clayey-ferrous soils in a flat area.
