Gruner Veltliner Valle Isarco Alto Adige DOC 2021 - Pacherhof

Gruner Veltliner by Pacherof is a South Tyrolean white wine with interesting, mainly fruity aromas. The sensation that dominates the tasting is that of balance, evident in the continuation of the approach to the palate, where the sips are fresh and enveloping, characterized by a marked aromaticity of taste. A perfect label to drink now, but which at the same time you can decide to refine more in glass for the next 3-4 years.The Veltliner Pacherof comes from grapes grown in various parcels within the Valle d'Isarco, the place where the cellar has always had its roots. We are located in a terroir located not far from Novacella, about 600 meters above sea level, which enjoys a steep southern exposure, with a subsoil in which sand, gravel and clausite alternate. The must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The final stage of aging takes place for a short time in large oak barrels with a capacity of 20 hectoliters. After this short maturation, the wine is ready to be bottled.The Gruner Veltliner made by the Pacherhof winery reveals itself to the eye with a bright straw yellow color, characterized by some slight reflections slightly more tending towards greenish. The fruit on the nose is tinged with different olfactory nuances - even exotic ones -, enriched by light touches that recall spices. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with a very refreshing aromatic sip, characterized by a nice envelopment. Closes with a finish with excellent persistence. A bottle that tells the story of the gentle slopes that characterize the Valle d'Isarco, particularly suited to the production of quality white wines.
