Chardonnay Sicilia Menfi D.O.C. 2022 – Planeta

Planeta Chardonnay reconfirms itself every year as the reference point for this grape variety throughout Sicily and beyond. Extraordinarily complex, sumptuous and powerful , it enters the elite of excellence by right. It was among the first wines to be produced on the company's first estate, that of Ulmo near Sambuca di Sicilia, on the shores of Lake Arancio. It is vinified and aged in fine Allier barriques. Gold-colored dress with green reflections, it expresses rich tones of plum and wisteria, dried fruit and orange blossom flowers on the nose, together with a slight woody touch. Powerful, soft and very persistent taste. One year in half new barriques. Excellent with chickpea cream and cod or with foie gras risotto.
