Classic Method

The vintage, as opposed to the Sansannée, indicates the single vintage from which the wine contained in the bottle comes. Always produced from a careful internal selection of the bases, produced in a specific harvest. This wine's main intention is to enhance and best tell the various peculiarities that each vintage has to express.

Literally white from white grapes. Monovitigno by definition, being present in the company the Chardonnay as the only white grape variety. Vertical wine, endowed with great freshness and sapidity, in a version without added dosage, in order to best express the concept of terroir, that is the sum of the characteristics and biodiversity present in the so-called "white lands" of the Langa Astigiana.

Olfactorily it is revealed through a unique aroma, where the reference to the Moscato grape from which it comes, is presented in all its articulated bouquet: apple, pear, light citron peel, fresh sponge cake and a nuanced background of sage.

Rosè Marcalberto is the result of a journey of experience and experimentation. Its peculiarity is inherent in the production technique. Vinified according to the most ancient technique used in the production of rosés, very often applied in France and much less in Italy, it is based on the addition of a small amount of red wine to the base of the white wine, so as to make the color more brilliant and lasting in time. Fresh and fruity wine with a light and sharp tannic sensation.

Therefore a multi-millesimato Classic Method, conceived through a variable blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay which aims, as an essential prerogative, to demonstrate our qualitative constancy through an entry wine that symbolically contains all the stylistic characteristics of our work.

Light pink in color, with fine perlage, it opens for tasting with intense aromas of wild strawberries, cassis, apple, grapefruit, pomegranate, wisteria and violet. On the palate it is fresh and of good thickness with an enveloping and silky finish. Of great versatility in combinations, perfect as an aperitif and excellent as an accompaniment solution to the most varied meals ranging from fish, to roasts, fresh cheeses and vegetables.

The straw yellow color with golden reflections and a fine and elegant perlage thanks to the long stay on the lees. It opens for tasting with delicate aromas of ripe fruit intertwined with hints of yeast and bread crust. The taste is fresh, elegant and harmonious, with a sour finish and intense fruity notes combined with pleasant almond sensations. Ideal as an aperitif, it can be perfectly accompanied with soups and risottos. It goes well with Mediterranean cuisine based on fish or as an accompaniment for buffalo mozzarella, vegetables, legumes and white meats.

The "KK" made by the Kante winery is a Classic Method which is characterized by the Zero Dosage, i.e. by the non-addition of any dosing liquor in the final stages of production. It is a versatile bubble, which gives emotions both during the aperitif and throughout the meal.

"KK" by Kante is a Classic Method Dosage Zero Rosé obtained from a 100% Pinot Noir variety. The grapes come from vineyards located at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level planted on the characteristic karst soil, defined by red earth and limestone rocks.
