Hot gold.
Nose
Not reduced, a quiet nose, not extremely assertive, but quite maritime. Fresh ship paint. Prickle nose weak. Spicy, salty, with distant smoke.
Body
Smooth and firm body.
Palate
At the bottled strength, a delicate start, which immediately develops in intensity. Slow and sweet, then takes on peppery and hot, with notable balancing bitterness and salt and some smoke.
Long, warm, slightly bitter and very dry, with some smoke.
