Description

The Marina Palusci oil mill produces oils in the heart of Abruzzo, on the Pianella hills, between the Adriatic Sea and the Majella National Park. In this territory, dominated above all by the Dritta and Leccino varieties, Marina Palusci extra virgin olive oil represents a valid expression of the oil typical of this area. A product that excites us because it is characterized by an intense fruity note of green olive accompanied by a good bitter and spicy: the result is a crude oil and cloudy in appearance but mesmerizing in aromas and on the palate. The oil comes from the olive growing of Dritta and Leccino using the olives at the right point of veraison, pressed in the traditional mill and bottled immediately to obtain the best of Abruzzo extra virgin olive oil.

Tasting Notes

Marina Palusci extra virgin olive oil. It offers a beautiful intense golden yellow color with slight green hues, clear. The nose opens decisively and enveloping, rich in vegetal hints of artichoke and wild chicory, accompanied by notes of officinal herbs, with clear memories of mint and rosemary. In the mouth it is wide and very fine, with tones of wild lettuce and spicy nuances of cinnamon and almond on the finish. Bitter and spicy present and well expressed.

Pairings
The perfect combination is with prawn appetizers, amberjack carpaccio, ovoli mushroom salads, sea bass marinades, broad bean soups, risotto with asparagus, steamed molluscs, sea bream tartare, fresh soft cheeses, baked biscuits.
Recommendations for use
To season cold and hot dishes with medium structure raw. For short cooking at high temperatures.
