Green color with reflections. On the nose it shows a light fruitiness whose hints are of fresh olives and cut grass. In the mouth balanced and the almond note prevails.
Cultivar: Leccino. Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil produced in Italy. Production area: Rocca San Giovanni-San Vito Chietino, Costa dei Trabocchi area (Abruzzo – Italy). Altitude: from 50 to 200 meters slm level Type of soil: mainly sandy. Average years of olive trees: 100-150 years. Training system: traditional in pots, around 150-160 plants per hectare. Harvest period: first days of September - first days of October. Type of collection: Manual with combs and mechanical shakers. Large nets are used on the ground to contain and collect the olives. The harvested olives are taken in boxes or bins to the mill for milling, which takes place promptly. Extraction: cold with a continuous 3-phase system. Storage: stainless steel tanks sealed under nitrogen and at controlled temperature. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from heat sources. Minimum storage term: 18 months.
