Description

Type of oil: Condiment based on extra virgin olive oil and chilli pepper is obtained by infusion of dried chilli pepper, in addition to the addition of flavouring. The chilli pepper aroma is made by an Italian company qualified in the sector; they are free of substances composed of or derived from GM , free of allergens, suitable for use in food products. Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil produced in Italy and chilli pepper flavouring. Cultivars: Blend of Leccino, Gentile di Chieti, Frantoio, Nebbio. Production area: Olives: Rocca San Giovanni- San Vito Chietino, Costa dei Trabocchi area (Abruzzo – Italy). Type of harvest: olives: Manual with combs and mechanical shakers. Large nets are used on the ground to contain and collect the olives. The harvested olives are taken in boxes or bins to the mill for milling, which takes place promptly. Chili peppers: once they have reached maturity, the peppers are harvested by hand and left to dry. Extraction: cold with a continuous 3-phase system. Storage: sealed stainless steel tanks. Conservation: Store in a cool, dry place away from sources of heat. Minimum conservation term: 18 months. Pairings: Chili pepper oil makes first courses lively. Gives intensity to tomato-based sauces and gravies. It is ideal if enjoyed with meat and fish main courses, as well as with vegetables or legumes. Packaging: Dark green glass bottle.
