VINIFICATION The grapes are harvested by hand and in boxes according to the principle of low yields, demanding but able to obtain satisfactory results. The grapes are immediately brought to the cellar and still fresh they are de-stemmed and pressed. The gravitational cellar, the only one in Bolgheri and one of the few in all of Tuscany, allows you not to stress the grapes during every single step of production. The vinification takes place in stainless steel.

COLOR Intense ruby red.

BOUQUET On the nose notes of ripe red fruit, with herbaceous notes, eucalyptus and mint, minerality and spices such as tobacco, black pepper, vanilla and sandalwood.

PAIRING Dishes based on red meat, such as grilled meat or even more complex game dishes.

TASTE Full, enveloping, soft and warm on the palate. On the finish it reveals a fresh acidity and ripe tannins, with a good flavor due to the influence of the sea.

NOTES The Bolgheri Rosso Adeo di Campo alla Sughera wine is the son of the Bolgheri terroir, an area of Tuscany that arrived in the world of wine quite recently compared to the classic areas of Chianti or Montalcino, but which in the course of a few decades has been able to establish itself with its own precise identity and typicality. The territory has proved to be very suitable for the cultivation of the great international vines originating from Bordeaux, used to produce the famous Supertuscan. The Campo alla Sughera estate owns 16 hectares of vineyards in different areas of the Bolgheri area, with a central body in the precious area close to via Bolgherese, on medium-textured soils, which tend to be clayey, with the presence of ancient sands and pebbles. alluvial origin. Fermentation takes place separately in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. The wine then matures for 12 months in French oak barriques and is refined for 6 months in the bottle.

AGING 12 months in oak barrels before being bottled, and then another 6 months in the bottle before being actually placed on the market
