The Maremma Toscana Cabernet Terre More was born in the Ammiraglia di Frescobaldi estate located in the municipality of Magliano, in the province of Grosseto. It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and with small additions of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Syrah grapes, harvested only by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with 13 days maceration in contact with the skins. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in second and third passage barriques, before being bottled. It has an intense and brilliant ruby red color. The nose opens with fruity hints of blackberry, plum and currant, enriched with nuances of vanilla and licorice. On the palate it is full and enveloping, soft and elegant, with a very long finish and a pleasantly sweet and fruity aftertaste. Perfect to accompany first courses with meat sauce and red meats cooked on the grill, this wine is ideal in combination with pizza.
