Vignanello Rosso Riserva Denomination of Controlled Origin Alcohol content: 14.00% vol. Grapes: Sangiovese 80%, Merlot 20%. The wine, obtained from scrupulously selected grapes, after a prolonged maceration the fermentation ends in small steel containers. The following spring the wine is placed in barriques where it remains for about 7-8 months. This is followed by maturation in steel and a one-year refinement in the bottle before being put up for sale. It has an intense red color tending towards garnet, a delicate and very characteristic aroma, a dry, warm, robust and harmonious flavour, very rich in extract. It is suitable for large roasts and game.
