From the vineyards of the Lunelli family, between Montefalco and Bevagna, comes Ziggurat, a Montefalco Rosso DOC which is the perfect synthesis of the power of the Sagrantino and Sangiovese grapes, also assisted by a small quantity of Cabernet and Merlot, to smooth out its roughness.
Brilliant and luminous ruby red colour, the nose immediately reveals elegant aromas of black cherry and sour cherry, morello cherry and cloves, culminating in balsamic essences, menthol and dark chocolate. Same elegance on the palate where it amazes with a beautiful balance between softness and freshness, tannin protagonist but without stealing the show from the other members. The mouth-watering persistence of mint chocolate is very long. Pasta and beans or soup with chestnuts but also with well-aged cheeses.
