DENOMINATION: Colli Aprutini Cabernet IGT VARIETY: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc EXPOSURE OF THE VINEYARDS: Towards South/South-West on a slight slope at 200 meters slm level in the municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi SOIL COMPOSITION: Loamy-clayey YIELD PER HECTARE: 80 quintals HARVEST: Manual with selection of the grapes in the vineyard VINIFICATION AND AGING: The freshly harvested grapes are subjected to immediate pressing and destemming. Alcoholic fermentation follows at a controlled temperature for a duration of 8 -12 days with permanence on the skins. At the end of this phase, the aging period begins which lasts 12 months and is carried out partly in 2-year barriques and partly in tonneau.
