The Barolo Gattera by Gianfranco Bovio vintage 2016 is a wine with a very intense ruby red color with orange reflections. The nose opens immediately a little closed to then feel the spicy and ripe fruit notes slowly emerge. On the palate it is soft, with an olfactory return.
VINES 100% Nebbiolo VINIFICATION Fermentation in steel tanks at controlled temperature (max 30°c) for about 10 days with indigenous yeasts maceration in contact with the skins (submerged cap technique) for about 3-4 weeks Followed by aging in large oak barrels for about 2 years FEATURES Ruby red color with brick reflections Traditional to the nose, with hints of ripe fruit and chocolate Great structure on the palate, with elegant and very persistent tannins To be combined with important dishes such as game meat and aged cheeses
