The Pirochetta comes from a 60-year-old vineyard from which an out-of-the-ordinary wine has always been made. It is a more complex Dolcetto, the aromas tend to open up a little later in the glass and it is more persistent in the mouth.
VINES 100% Dolcetto WINEMAKING Natural fermentation with manual pumping over Aging 18/20 months in steel and 2 months in bottle Unfiltered, selected yeasts are not used CHARACTERISTICS The color is purple red with ruby purple flashes The nose is deep and vertical with fruity aromas that chase each other to create an enveloping and balanced bouquet Cherries, plums and currants are followed later by spicy and licorice acknowledgments On the palate it shows decision and character but does not give up on softness and roundness despite the presence of an evident tannin The finish is long and persistent Excellent and proven sealing capacity over the years
