Masseria Spaccafico is a young and dynamic reality of the Apulian territory which, with great stubbornness and dedication, is gaining fame and prestige on the national and above all regional scene. The wines that characterize the production activity are mainly focused on native vines of the area. Negroamaro, Primitivo, Malvasia Nera and Nero di Troia but also of vines far from the local tradition, such as Chardonnay. From these grapes come productive jewels, wines of character and personality, witnesses of a tradition of extraordinary value. One of the most emblematic examples is the Nero Di Troia "Passera Scopaiola", a perfect cross-section of the vine which, despite all its peculiarities, represents a real pearl of Salento. The Nero di Troia Passera Scopaiola by Masseria Spaccafico offers the eye of the consumer an intense ruby red with reflections tending towards purple, the nose is authoritative, decisive with notes of blackberries, blueberries and figs. The floral bouquet is characterized by notes of violet and peony together with wild hints of black pepper, especially the balsamic trail. On the palate the softness caresses the palate while the minerality refreshes it, creating a perfect balance in the mouth.
