Denomination: PUGLIA IGP ROSSO Grapes: Nero di Troia 100% Production area: “Cotinone” estate – 80 mt. Slm , facing north-west. Characteristics of the vineyard: extension of 3 hectares. Planted in 2003 with a density of 1,800 plants/ha. “Guyot” training system Soil: calcareous-sandy soil. Yield per hectare: 80 quintals Vinification and ageing: The must, after a long contact with the skins, is kept in oak barriques where our Cru "Guado San Leo" is previously aged for about 6 months. This is followed by aging in the bottle for about 3 months. TASTING NOTES Colour: Deep ruby red Bouquet: intense aroma of red berry fruits Taste: Soft and velvety with well-present but balanced tannins Pairings: Red meats, stews and aged cheeses Serving temperature: 18°C
