Our best calling card is the family in which love for the land and the traditions associated with it have always been cultivated. The ambition to create an important red wine, capable of withstanding long aging and which is a tribute to all children, with the hope that they will become great men of tomorrow: I Matti in the local dialect means precisely children. Characteristics Dry red wine, clear in appearance with a deep garnet colour. On the nose it has excellent intensity and persistence, fine, with hints of ripe raspberry, blackberry and cherry, on a woody background. The taste is dry, fresh, very fruity, warm, full-bodied and very persistent. On the aftertaste, the fruity note, freshness and balanced tannins stand out. Young but of great harmony. Grape variety and production area This generous wine is produced by Merlot grapes from the company's vineyards located in Ortovero. Training system Spurred cordon. Food pairings Grilled red meats, lamb and kid with artichokes, furred game, braised meats, tasty hard cheeses. Between meals it is to be considered a great meditation wine. How to serve and store It is served at a temperature of 18 - 20°C, in large balloon-shaped glasses. It must be kept lying down in the lowest compartments of the cellar at a constant temperature between 10 and 14°C. We recommend uncorking it at least one hour before serving.
