Toscana Rosso is a wine produced in Cinigiano, in Maremma, from grapes from 40% Petit Verdot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Montepulciano vines.The company includes an uncontaminated expanse of 25 hectares of land, 14 of which are planted with vineyards. The methods selected for cultivation are organic, everything is done manually from pruning to harvest, respecting the environment and the Tuscan wine tradition. The refinement is carried out in small French oak barrels for 15 months.
GRAPE VARIETIES: 40% petit verdot, 30% Montepulciano, 30% cabernet sauvignon VINIFICATION: Fermentation temperature 28° C. Maceration in steel; 17 days petit verdot, 18 days cabernet and 14 days Montepulciano. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 16 months in 500-litre French oak tonneaux. CHARACTERISTICS: Deep red color, it opens to the nose in an elegant and complex way, the dominant aromas are of blackberries, strawberries, spices and balsamic notes. The mouth is full and the tannins of great breed give it considerable length and elegance.
