This wine is produced from a careful selection of only bunches of Nero D'avola and is characterized by complex aromas and an elegant structure.

Description

Vinification: In red, maceration at 22-24°C at temp.contr. 6/8 days. Stainless steel; total alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in concrete. Refinement: 5 months in bottle Nero d'Avola in purity, vinified in steel which stands out for its intense fruity bouquet and its elegant structure; intense ruby red in color, it is characterized by the complexity of aromas of currants, cherries, tamarind, licorice and by the smooth tannins that support its persistent finish. The Baglio di Serramarrocco comes from Nero d'Avola grapes harvested in the "vineyard of the Baglio" of 4.85/ha cultivated with the Guyot system with a planting density of 7,143 vines/ha and a yield of 95Q.li/ha 1, 40Kg . per stump. Vinified in steel with maceration on the skins for 6/8 days at 22-24° C, the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in cement tanks. 5 months of aging in the bottle. First vintage 2003
