Barlàn, the traditional allegorical figure of the Ghemme carnival was the inspiration for this great and distinctive rosé. Creating a rosé using one of the finest Italian red berried grapes as a base grape may seem like a paradox, but the Nebbiolo variety appears particularly suitable for this purpose, thanks to its high level of acidity and concentration of aromas. The nobility of Nebbiolo is only partially masked by the fresh palate and the pink-gold color of this DOC wine from the Colline Novaresi.
Color: antique pink with coppery reflections Bouquet: fragrant, with both fruity and floral notes Taste: fresh, balanced and savory. Elegant and soft despite its youth Suggested initial serving temperature: serve at 11-12° C, uncorking just at the moment of consumption Gastronomic combination: very versatile, it accompanies a great variety of foods. Its finesse and elegance never dominate the flavours, not even the very delicate ones. Also suitable for fish-based dishes Notes: Creating a rosé starting from a red wine par excellence may seem paradoxical, however, Nebbiolo lends itself well to this type of vinification thanks to its acidity and concentration of aromas. Barlàn is a great rosé outside the traditional schemes.
