The wine, obtained from Vernaccia Nera grapes and aged for 18 months in barrique, has an intense ruby colour, very consistent.
On the nose it announces itself as rich in extract, sweet spices combined with cherries in alcohol, plum jam and a pleasant woody note.
In the mouth it is consistent, with fruit jam and sweet spices united by a dense tannic texture which with the alcoholic backbone supports the entire progression.
Excellent with meat dishes including furred game.
It is recommended to serve it at 18°C.
