Etna Rosso Ripiddu Filippo Grasso is produced from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Mantellato grapes on the Etna volcanic soil and precisely on the North Slope of Etna, in the Randazzo area, in Contrada Calderara.
Production Area: Contrada Calderara Typology: Red wine. Exposure: North side of Etna. Altitude: 650m. slm Soil Composition: Volcanic soil, stony, dry, draining and rich in minerals. Training system: Counter-espalier with high planting density. Yield per hectare: 50 quintals. Harvest: Second half of October. Vinification: Maceration on the skins for 12-15 days at a controlled temperature. Aging in steel.
