This Montepulciano D'Abruzzo derives from the union of 2 areas, one in the mountains (Fara Filiorum Petri) and one in the sea (Ortona), so that the flavors of the mountains and the sea come together and reflect the territorial characteristics of the Abruzzo region.
Service mode:
Perfect to accompany savory first courses, roasts, grilled tuna, sausages and semi-aged cheeses. Serve at 18-20 ° C.
Tasting notes:
Ruby red with bright purple hues, ample aromas of red fruit, vanilla and fine spicy notes.
Notes of the oenologist:
Grapes harvested by hand in the second half of October. After de-stemming, the grapes are conveyed directly into the stainless steel fermenters, where the fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature for about two weeks. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the wine with its macerated skins is pressed and conveyed to a stainless steel tank at a controlled temperature for 6 months. 30% of the wine is aged in wood and finally in the bottle lying down.
