The Italian region of Salento is perfect for growing red wine grapes. The grapes grown here have a distinctive flavor not found in other lands. The grapes grown in the land of Salento are mainly long-lived grapes, with trees up to hundreds of years old. Despite the long life of the plant, it still refines the essence to produce the best quality grapes. The wine is made 100% from the Primitivo vine, the legendary grape of Italy. The wine grapes are harvested between mid-August and early September. It is then left to macerate in steel tanks and fermented at a controlled temperature and the subsequent 12 months of aging in barrique. Primitivo has an intense ruby ​​color with purple reflections, and the nose is fruit with mostly suggestive red fruits such as blackberries, plums and chocolate. The flavors are rich, fruity, harmonious, round and full.
