Ripe grapes harvested in their full aromatic and extractive vigor from ancient vines that for over 30 years have produced fruits of extraordinary sweetness and aromatic intensity. Violet and dense allocchio, fruity and pulpy on the nose, it offers clear sensations of red flowers, blackberries and hints of sweet spices. The soft tannins of this Montepulciano dAbruzzo pleasantly caress the palate, giving back sensations of roundness and satisfaction and well balanced by the acid component. Ripe pulp extracts satisfy the sip, losing their softness and yielding to sweetness, fullness and elegance.

HARVEST Manual selection of the bunches harvested in slight over-ripening coming from a thirty-year-old vineyard and excellently exposed. The terroir guarantees to these grapes optimal temperature ranges which together with the permanent grassing techniques used in the company give this wine an extreme richness of floral aromas as well as a strong reference to the fruit.
VINIFICATION This wine is obtained from a maceration with the skins lasting 15 days during which 3 daily pumpovers were carried out. Subsequently the wine was decanted into wooden barrels and left to rest until the end of the malolactic fermentation.
