The Antrum was dedicated to the caves of the first winery built in 1853 in Miglianico. The wine fully reflects the character of the Ciavolich family and its centennial history rooted in Abruzzo. The grapes come from the vineyards planted by Giuseppe Ciavolich in the 90s and 2000s on the Loreto Aprutino estate. After being selected and hand-picked, they are taken to the cellar where the crushing-destemming takes place. The must together with the skins ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Afterwards, delestage and pumping over are periodically carried out in order to extract color and tannin useful for the long aging that it will have to achieve. At the end of fermentation, after racking, the wine obtained is transferred to barriques and tonneaux, half new and half used.
