- Grapes: Nerello Mascalese 55%, Nerello Cappuccio 25%, Nocera 10%, Nero d'avola 10%
- Bred: Espalier / sapling
- Harvest: Manual in crates starting from the third week of September (mascalese and cappuccino), second week (nocera and nero d'avola)
- Vinification: In truncated conical steel vats. Fulling (5 times a day) for one month. Pressing of the skins. The wine is left on the lees until January of the following year and then it is blended.
- Maturation Medium / small French oak for 9 months (second step)
- Refined in bottle for 6 months
- Tasting notes: Of a beautiful ruby red veined with darker and brighter reflections, it presents itself to the nose with ample and elegant aromas of ripe red berry fruit, floral notes and notes that refer to the Mediterranean scrub and spices, nutmeg and pepper in particular, on a perfectly integrated noble wood background. On the palate it shows a great balance between dense and fine tannins and a nice round and juicy fruit that gives it a long, deep and persistent finish.
