Sensory notes \ n \ n Color : bright ruby red with violet reflections and a beautiful consistency. \ n Nose : intense and fine, with hints of blackberry, cherry, plum and violet. \ n Taste : on the palate it is dry and the perception is of delicate warmth supported by an energetic softness magnificently balanced with hardness with freshness and well-blended tannins and assisted by a slight sapidity. \ n \ nThe olfactory sensations are reaffirmed in the flavors, tenacious and well associated with each other, with the addition of humus notes and delicate herbaceous references. \ n \ n Harvest \ nComing from an area particularly suited for winemaking and at an ideal altitude for a magnificent temperature range, from over thirty-year-old vines, magnificently exposed and trained in Tendone and Guyot. \ nThe Merlot is the result of a strictly manual harvest of the first ten days of September, of an agriculture that is very attentive to the environment and its biodiversity. \ n \ n Vinification \ nThe maceration takes place in thermo-conditioned steel vats, at the end of which follows a malolactic fermentation and a subsequent maturation of at least 3 months in concrete tanks and then bottled in the total absence of oxygen. \ n \ n How to combine our Merlot Torri wine \ nTo be served at 12 ° -14 °, possibly with a nice large glass and always uncorking it a few minutes before serving, so as to allow it to open well and express itself at its best. \ n \ nExcellent on many occasions, it is the typical red wine that can be appreciated not only on cold winter days, but also when high temperatures would make us give up our favorite color type to orient ourselves towards white or rosé wines. \ nPerfect with aperitifs, appetizers, savory foods, vegetarian dishes, white and red meats and fresh and medium-aged cheeses. \ n \ n Imagine crostini alla caprese, spaghetti with cheese and pepper, an aubergine parmigiana, sweet and sour chicken, straccetti with rocket or a tender Bra DOP.
