Sensory notes \ n \ n Color : A bright and impenetrable ruby red, with an appreciable consistency. \ n Nose : energetic and deep, it stands out for its intensity and for the articulated olfactory framework, in which hints of ripe blackberry, cherry, sour cherries stand out, with delicate hints of spice in the finish. \ n Taste : The intensity is strengthened on the sip with hints that, in addition to reflecting the olfactory ones, also recall black cherry, cherry and wild berries. \ nAn intact freshness supported by silky tannins on the palate, well balanced by a warmth and a fine and elegant softness, harmoniously responsible for a pleasant drink. \ n \ nA persevering finish, with a spicy imprint as well as pleasantly almondy. \ n \ n Harvest \ n \ nFruit of an old vineyard raised with Abruzzo pergola, coming from one of the most characteristic areas of Abruzzo at a perfect altitude to guarantee a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure. \ n \ nA Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC obtained from a strictly manual October harvest of certified organic farming, which ensures the utmost respect for the surrounding environment. \ n \ n Vinification \ n \ nA vinification in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by a malolactic fermentation, a maturation of 6 months in concrete tanks, then 12 months in barriques, to be bottled in total absence of oxygen and refine for another 6 months. \ n \ n How to combine our Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC Riserva wine \ n \ nIt needs time to express itself at its best, therefore it must be opened well in advance before enjoying it, at a temperature between 16 and 18 degrees, with a glass very roomy and with a wide hem. \ nPrefers well-structured and tasty foods: aperitifs, appetizers, first courses, vegetarian foods, red meats and medium and long-aged cheeses.
