The stony nature, the volcanic origin of the soil and the hot and arid climate unite Elba with many Mediterranean regions. The vineyards from which our grapes come are located between two ancient iron mines; this circumstance makes Vermentino even more characteristic for its marked minerality, while the extreme proximity to the sea gives these vineyards a particular energy. Freshness and good acidity are guaranteed by the high altitudes.

PAIRINGS Typical seafood dishes of Tuscan cuisine such as cacciucco and cod. It is also excellent with first courses with meat sauce and spicy dressings.
TASTE Fresh and non-aggressive tannins on a large and mineral body.
AGING Refinement for a period of 6 months in second passage French oak tonneaux. Bottled the year after the harvest, at the end of the summer.
