PRODUCTION AREA Vineyards facing south-east, south-west in the municipalities of Nus, Quart, Saint-Denis, Chambave, Châtillon at 450-550 meters above sea level

VARIETY Syrah 100%

TYPE OF SOIL Soils of morainic origin, mainly composed of sand (80%) and, for the remainder, of silt. The clay content is minimal (at most 10%). In fact, these are sub-alkaline soils rich in skeleton, usually not very deep.

VINIFICATION Harvest selection from the oldest vineyards. Vinification in steel, at 30 degrees, maceration for 15 days

TRAINING SYSTEM Guyot

COLOR Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.

BOUQUET Intense, persistent, fruity. There are characteristic hints of ripe red fruit, spicy and fruity.

PAIRING Typical cold cuts (mocetta), typical game recipes, roasts.

TASTE Warm, full, rightly alcoholic, of great volume, excellent balance between the soft parts and the tannins. Extremely persistent.

NOTES The grapes grown on the south-facing slopes become the perfect synthesis of our viticultural territory. The harvest takes place in the first fortnight of October and after a long maceration in contact with the skins and an aging sur lies for at least 12 months, of which at least 50% in small wood, we obtain a wine with a unique character, powerful and elegant notes, fused in a fascinating balance of ripe red fruits and spices.
