Negroamaro, native to Puglia, is the main black grape variety of Salento. Its origins are very ancient (VIII century AC ), it probably owes its name to the terms “niger” (Latin) and “mavros” (Greek) which both mean black. The great versatility makes it suitable for all types of winemaking.
Denomination: Salento IGP Rosato Negroamaro Color: Brilliant salmon crossed by light golden hues. Perfume: The fruity aromas recall freshly ripe cherries and act as a counterpoint to fresh herbaceous scents. Taste: Dry, fresh and soft in the mouth, a nice roundness is initially perceived on the tongue, followed by a sensation of almost tannic structure and consistency. Elegant fruity finish with spicy accent. Pairing: Structured wine, it should be paired with white meats, cold cuts, fish-based dishes (baked, grilled and stewed) and fresh cheeses. Format: 750ml
