Our Rosato - 2021 IGP Organic Rosé Wine Sicilian Lands - Az. Agricola Spadafora The Spadafora Agricultural Company is located in the municipality of Monreale, a few kilometers from Palermo, in the Virzì district. It boasts over 100 hectares of vineyards, distributed over an area heated by the hot Sicilian sun and crossed by the fresh wind. Francesco Spadafora, son of Don Pietro dei Principi di Spadafora, founder of the farm, is dedicated to it with passion, who is committed to the revaluation of native and allochthonous vineyards destined for the birth of quality wines. According to the company's philosophy, all the production takes place in their lands and the harvested grapes are transformed immediately, so as to preserve their quality to the maximum. It is part of the Don Pietro line, created to evoke the history of the family; a line that uses wines with many personal implications that Francesco Spadafora dedicates to his father who has just passed away to thank him for having given him a splendid land to produce grapes. Made from 100% Nero d'Avola grapes, it is an aromatic and fresh wine, with a pale pink colour; with an aromatic and fruity aroma and a floral and balanced taste. PHYSICAL AND ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: Colour: soft pink colour. Bouquet: fruity, sensation of light acidity, aroma and light body. Taste: the floral freshness is felt and the fruit perceived on the nose returns. Pleasant balanced tannins to give the right structure to the wine. Alcohol content: 13% by vol. RECOMMENDED TEMPERATURE: 11°C FOOD PAIRINGS: tasty fish-based dishes, dry pasta with delicate sauces, light cold cuts.
