Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo “Le Vasche” - 100% Montepulciano We harvest by hand in boxes around the middle of September. The grapes are de-stemmed and pressed into whole grapes. It ferments spontaneously in steel tanks. After bottling, it ages in the bottle for a few months before going on the market. The name Cerasuolo originates from the term “cerasa”, which indicates the cherry, a small and delicate fruit that the wine recalls in the nuances of color and organoleptic notes. Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo is a unique wine, a rosé from Montepulciano, a wine of contrasts by definition. Between a red - from which it takes its structure and complexity - and a rosé - which retains the freshness and ease of drinking. It is par excellence the wine of the Abruzzo gastronomic tradition , which in the past was produced by mixing black and white grapes. On the table it is an extremely versatile wine, accompanying well with a great variety of dishes of every season.
