Service temperature: 10° C Residual sugar: 12 g/l DESCRIPTION OF SPAGO SPAGO TREVISO DOC SPARKLING PROSECCO BY MARSURET The sparkling Prosecco “Spago” with Treviso DOC denomination, produced by the Marsuret company traces the history of this company which has always operated in the heart of the prosecco wine district. The term Marsuret derives from the nickname attributed locally to the Marsura family for decades linked to the territory and its traditions. The cellar is located near Guia and, despite the evolution it has undergone, it always remains in the same place camouflaged among the vineyards, almost becoming one with the surrounding context. Many years have passed since Agostino Marsura bought a vineyard in Val de Cune and founded the company in 1936, but the love for good wine and prosecco has remained unchanged. The current management aims to exploit new technologies in order to obtain high quality products without forgetting the pearls of ancient wisdom. The company's hectares of vineyards are scattered throughout the Valdobbiadene area, thus providing grapes with differentiated organoleptic characteristics capable of giving wines with a unique aromatic background. The grapes are harvested manually and taken to the cellar as quickly as possible in order to protect the integrity of the grapes, caskets of aromas and perfumes. The soft pressing carried out at a controlled temperature is the basis for obtaining a fine and elegant product, the messenger of a unique aromatic baggage enhanced by the marked effervescence deriving from the second fermentation in the autoclave. Fresh, sapid and structured, it strikes the palate for its immediacy which reveals a good consistency. The soils of Valdobbiadene have the advantage of maintaining the right balance of the plant without excesses in one direction or the other. The sparkling wine is pleasant to drink and can be combined with light first courses, fish dishes and vegetable soups, never failing to show its intense taste-olfactory persistence.
