VARIETY Pinot Bianco 100%
TYPE OF SOIL Clayey marl alternating with layers of sandstone (calcified sands).

VINIFICATION The grapes are selected on sorting benches and subsequently de-stemmed and pressed with a pneumatic press. The must obtained is decanted for 12-24 hours before being fermented with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature (16-18 degrees) for 15-20 days until the sugars are exhausted. Subsequently begins the period of batonnage, that is the periodic handling of the yeasts, which allows the wine to be naturally enriched with natural antioxidants and to refine for 4 months.
TRAINING SYSTEM Guyot
COLOR Light straw yellow
BOUQUET Of medium structure and never invasive acidity, it opens to the nose with sensations of white flowers, elegant and clean.
PAIRING Fish appetizers, white meats, fresh cheeses, steamed fish-shellfish, finger food, eggs and savory pies
TASTE The elegant and persuasive notes are confirmed on the palate, with a hint of fresh apricot.
NOTES Balanced and full-bodied, the Pinot Bianco Colli Orientali del Friuli DOC of the Bastianich winery is a single-variety white wine from 100% Pinot bianco grapes. The production area is located in the eastern hills of Friuli in the municipality of Cividale on limestone and marl-based soils.
