VARIETY Vermentino 80%, Chardonnay 20%

TYPE OF SOIL Mainly sandy in the coastal area

VINIFICATION The grapes arrive in the cellar on small boxes protected by dry ice and conveyed whole to the press, where in conditions of inert atmosphere under cold, they are mashed up to 0.25 atm obtaining an excellent flower. The subsequent static decantation allows us to inseminate selected yeasts on clear must; the fermentation, controlled at 16 ° C, is then prolonged by keeping the wine aging on the fermentation lees for about 40 days by continuously stirring the bottom.

TRAINING SYSTEM Spurred cordon

COLOR Straw yellow, very bright and shining.

BOUQUET Very fruity and slightly marine, with hints of exotic fruit, white flowers, tropical fruit and hints of minerals.

PAIRINGS Excellent pairing with all fish courses, white meats or drunk as an aperitif.

TASTE On the palate it is fine-bodied, light, slender and flowing, with an energetic sip, from which a pleasant mineral texture emerges.

NOTES The Sardinian white wine Samas is a blend with which the Agripunica winery combines the love for native vines, personified in this case by Vermentino, with a more international vision, represented by the percentage of Chardonnay present in the final blend. Thus was born a label with a dynamic sip, where the flavor is a component that guides the entire taste experience, both in the nose and in the mouth. A label suitable for all seasons, which always represents a winning card when you don't know what to put on the table. A wild card to always have at hand!

AGING Aging in steel tanks for about 2 and a half months. The subsequent blend between the two varieties and a further refinement of 3 months in small reinforced concrete tanks completes the natural maturation and stabilization of the Samas which is not treated with intermediate clarifications or filtrations.
