Produced from two vineyards of only Abruzzo Trebbiano in Casacanditella, one of which over 40 years old and the other a guyot planted by Gianni Masciarelli in the late 90s, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC Castello di Semivicoli could be considered a reserve for the its rich and enveloping drink and its long aging potential. After cryo-maceration with the skins, which allows the maximum extraction of polyphenolic substances, Trebbiano Castello di Semivicoli ferments and refines in steel, and then goes into the bottle for at least two years. Even after a few years, it impresses with its surprising freshness and its fluid and succulent structure. Fruity aromas dominate with a large amount of candied fruit, lime, dried apple and papaya. The body is full , supported by a brilliant acidity , great minerality and a long finish.
