Harvest
Born between Ancarano and Controguerra (TE), at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level, ideal for guaranteeing an extraordinary temperature range, from a thirty-year-old vine grown with a Tendone system and with a magnificent south-south / east exposure. A wine in purity, that is 100% Pecorino d'Abruzzo DOC grapes, obtained from a strictly manual harvest in early September of certified organic farming that guarantees maximum respect for the surrounding environment.
Vinification
A vinification carried out in thermo-conditioned steel vats followed by an aging of 3 months, in concrete tanks, and then bottling in the total absence of oxygen.
How to combine Pecorino d'Abruzzo Torri 420
A wine to be served cold, at a maximum of 6-8 degrees, with aperitifs, appetizers, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white meats and fresh or medium-aged cheeses. We think of foods preferably based on fish such as raw seafood or linguine allo scoglio, goat's ricorra ravioli, cannelloni with mushrooms, but also a rooster on a spit, grilled vegetables or a stracchinata Abruzzese caciotta.
