The Pecorino grape is a white grape that was traditionally grown on the inland hills of our province, suited to a cooler climate and in clayey soils. Production had almost been abandoned due to poor production yields.

Description

Grapes: Pecorino 100% Notes: In the 90s on an input from the dean of sommeliers of the Marches/Abruzzo Teodoro Bugari it was rediscovered by prof. Seghetti of the Institute of Enology of Ascoli and by the ampelographer prof. Moretti di Conegliano bringing it to a new life. The processing is typical of white wines, crushing, cold maceration, fermentation at low temperatures, aging on the lee, bottling. Wine normally always with great structure. Characteristics: Straw yellow colour, clearly perceptible aromas of white flowers, sapid, persistent, well structured.
