Pecorino by Emidio Pepe is a white wine with a great personality, full-bodied and intense, which gives us floral and yellow fruit notes on the nose, with a herbaceous finish. The sip has a very pleasant mineral note and a vertical taste of great persistence.
Emidio Pepe 's Pecorino is a histrionic white with a boundless personality, coming from one of the best known and most esteemed wineries in the entire Italian scene. Over a century of family history in the world of viticulture for the Pepe family, since Emidio, grandfather of the contemporary Emidio, sensed the potential of the area around Torano, where he planted the first vines of Montepulciano and Trebbiano. And then from 1964, under the guidance of Emidio, the Pepe name began to circulate on the lips of all enthusiasts, by virtue of granite interpretations, sometimes almost immortal, which for Emidio are the simple fruit of a serious and conscientious work, inherent in its culture. Today it is the daughters Daniela and Sofia who take care of the cellar, with the help of their niece Chiara, always following the precious dictates and suggestions of Emidio, able to recognize the right moment of the harvest simply by tasting a grape.
