POSTA ARIGNANO is the name of the ancient farmhouse that stands in the center of the "Coppanetta" estate where, in ancient times, travelers who crossed the Daunia lands found refreshment and very often also the shepherds in transhumance from nearby Abruzzo. Today the farm is surrounded by about 30 hectares. of vineyards that give rise to most of our labels.
Denomination: white San Severo DOC Grapes: Bombino b. 50%, Trebbiano 40%, Malvasia 10% Production area: “Coppanetta” estate – 50 mt. Slm , with north-west exposure. Characteristics of the vineyard: extension of 5 hectares. Planted in 1973 with a density of 1,800 plants/ha. "Apulian tent" growing system Soil: calcareous-clayey soil Yield per hectare: 120 quintals Vinification and ageing: Pressing takes place with the aid of pneumatic presses and is followed by fermentation in thermo-conditioned steel tanks, at a constant of 15° C, for about 20 days. After fermentation, the wine is aged in tanks for about 5 months and, after bottling, for another month in the bottle, before being marketed TASTING NOTES Colour: straw yellow Bouquet: pineapple, banana and anise Taste: dry Pairings : fish, shellfish, as an aperitif and throughout the meal.
