The Vergine Riserva 2003 is dedicated to the first car purchased in the Martinez family, a Diatto with the TP7 license plate. It was the early 1900s when Gaspare Martinez, an exponent of the second generation, lent it to King Vittorio Emanuele III during his trip to Sicily. In the Concia, which is the phase in the production process in which the type of Marsala to be obtained is defined, only alcohol was added to the DOC base wine from Grillo grapes to then start aging in oak barrels.
