Among the most common Piedmontese white grape varieties, Arneis originates from Roero, where it has been cultivated since the 16th century; the bunch is compact and the berries rather small, therefore the yield is low and what is obtained at the end is a truly precious liquid! It is no coincidence that the Monchiero Carbone company has called its Arneis 'ReCit' which in Piedmontese dialect means 'little King'. With labels from the best crus in the area, Monchiero has always tried to enhance the small productions of each individual hill, without giving in to fashions but respecting tradition, through a production that has made the family crest its motto: 'every uss a so tanbuss' has it, each door has its own knocker, to underline how each label has its own peculiarities.Brilliant and intense straw yellow, the nose has pure floral hints of green apple and banana together with aromatic vegetable notes of sage and linden, with a background of almonds. The taste is tasty, soft and round well balanced in the fresh-savory axis without ever appearing awkward, maintaining a right progression up to the moderate finish of peach and citron.Excellent with vegetable flan.
VINES 100% Arneis VINIFICATION The grapes come from the blending of several vineyards located in different municipalities of the Roero This is to allow a global view of the potential of the territory at each harvest and to be able to guarantee greater complexity The vinification takes place in steel CHARACTERISTICS Straw yellow in color, the nose is distinguished by the intense and enveloping hints of ripe fruit (apple and pear), enriched by notes reminiscent of almond. The taste starts voluminous, full of soft and sensual tactile sensations, continues on fatness, never graceless and with a dry and full finish
